Obama won big in the mock election at my daughter's elementary school too!

I live in a very Republican county and area. In my daughters class in high school, grade 11, there are no Republicans. Even they can see through the shit storm of Romney and the GOP. I hope they continue to have good judgement.

When I was a kid we held a mock election at my elementary school. This is really showing my age, but McGovern won in a landslide.

Here's hoping that aagcobb's daughter's school is more representative of the actual result than my Catholic grade school was in 1972.

That's really regional/community based though. I once had a school counselor do an exercise with my class about standing up for their opinions. One of the exercises was 'stand over here if you approve of President Bush'. The whole room marched to 'do not approve', and stood there. She implored. There must be one Republican seventh grader! No go.

It was Oakland. What did she expect? In another town, she would have gotten a whole different result.

Republicans don't buy "coffee" at 7-11 only you people would drink that swill. We buy our lattes and espressos at Starbucks, I'm only surprised that uncouth "poll" at 7-11 got any votes for Romney at all.

re: #5 ghazidor

My thought was Republicans tend to have other people get them coffee at Starbucks. I use the term loosely for I've had the overpriced swill there.
